Ava August
Ava August, then 14 she performed before an SOLD-OUT audience of 30,000 people in the Staples Center before the Los Angeles Kings hockey match. Ava August had been booked with the LA Galaxy and Los Angeles Dodgers, two professional baseball and soccer teams. In the end, COVID-19 caused them to cancel those performances. Ava August was the youngest performer on American Idol's 19th season at 15 years old. Ava received the GOLDENTICKET in the Audition Round. Then, Ava August progressed to Genre Round, Duet Round, Showstopper rounds, the Celebrity/Solo Round Top 16, and the the top 10 rounds. Ava got voted in the TOP 10 by the American audience. Ava August performed two originals for American Idol, Neighbor boy and Ghost of You. Ava did a duet which had a tremendous powerhouse and powerful with Josh Groban, an internationally-acclaimed performer. Also at 15, Ava August dropped her critically acclaimed single Daybreak, a track that has been praised by critics. Daybreak - which was accompanied by her very first animated music video. On the morning of 11/01/20, Daybreak was played in the morning on KX 93.5 FM, along with the The Tropical Surf Hour. Daybreak was played on 11/29/20 at 88.5FM Los Angeles/OC, on the radio in Southern California to 11M listeners.
